The story of Alexander Hamilton and his famous duel in 1804 has become the biggest play on Broadway. But let’s not forget his opponent in the duel, Aaron Burr. ‘Burr: The One Who Won’ is an original comedy by local playwright, Scott Phillips, with music by Jill Detroit that tells the other side of the story. Experience Burr’s life from his fighting for American independence, to his becoming Vice-President, to the famous duel, to his self-imposed exile in Europe and finally his return to America. If you think American politics are nasty now, you ain’t seen nothing yet. Come enjoy the show and bring family and friends.
